Our Approach to Grantmaking
The William H. & Karen K. Dobbins Family Foundation is committed to changemaking, not just grantmaking. We support initiatives that are deeply rooted in the Albion community and aligned with our vision of a “Better Albion for All.” At this time, the foundation makes grants by invitation only as we continue to build relationships and learn alongside trusted community partners.
Education
We believe in the power of education to open doors, create opportunities, and transform lives. From early learning to lifelong education, we support efforts that help individuals grow and thrive.
Arts & Culture
Arts and culture bring people together, inspire creativity, and strengthen community identity. We invest in programs that celebrate local talent, preserve heritage, and create meaningful cultural experiences.
Community Building
Strong communities are built on connection, trust, and shared purpose. We support projects and organizations that foster collaboration, improve quality of life, and create a sense of belonging for all.
