Meet Bill Dobbins
Bill is a lifelong entrepreneur and visionary whose passion for revitalization has helped shape both the physical and economic landscape of Albion. He began his career as a family physician, practicing medicine in the Albion and Marshall area for 25 years. Driven by a desire to make an even broader impact, Bill made a significant career shift, earning his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and stepping into leadership of the family business, Caster Concepts.
For more than four decades, Bill has cared for the people of Albion—first through medicine, then through business, investment, and civic engagement. Through ACE Investment Properties, he has led the restoration of historic buildings, launched new ventures, and invested in organizations and initiatives that strengthen the community. His leadership reflects a deep belief that lasting change begins at home—and with those willing to do the hard work of building a better future.
Meet Karen Dobbins
Karen brings compassion, creativity, and a steadfast dedication to service that has shaped both her family and the Albion community. A quiet but powerful force behind many local initiatives, Karen has played an essential role in Albion’s revitalization—most notably through her work with ACE Investment Properties, where she partners in restoring historic buildings and breathing new life into key spaces throughout the city.
Her commitment to children and families is evident in her instrumental role in launching Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum, where she served as founding Board Chair, helping to establish the museum as a cornerstone for early learning and play in the region. She also dedicated many years to the Albion Community Foundation, including service as Board Chair, helping to guide philanthropic efforts that continue to make a lasting impact.
